Relay For Life
This year's Relay For Life is scheduled for May 1st, 2010. The Charlotte Harbor ParrotHead Club will once again be fielding walkers for the Charlotte Harbor Relay for Life. This year we will be participating in the Charlotte Harbor event on Saturday only, since the last two years we met our fund-raising goal, AND our Parrot Head area includes several other communities who are now also scheduling 'Relay for Life' events.
Serious fund raising will begin in March and our April social meeting will be all about raffles, donations, and raising money for this worthwhile project. A regular spot on the newsletter/blurb will begin posting next month to alert members of fund raising events within our club, as well as inviting members to sign-up or be seriously involved by working or sponsoring a money-raising event.
