Ingredients:
- 1.5 liter bottle of very good Cabernet Sauvignon (Black Swan is what I used.)
- 1 cup of very good Brandy (E&J is what we used)
- 1 cup of Triple Sec or Orange Liquor
- 1 cup sugar
Mixing Instructions:
Mix wine, brandy, triple sec and sugar. Add 1 orange sliced and slightly squeezed, 1 lemon sliced and squeezed, 1 lime sliced and squeezed and 1 apple sliced.Cure in a sealed bottle or jug for 24 hours, shaking occasionally.
Next day add 1 large bottle of Pellegrino Italian Sparkling water (This is the secret ingredient!)
If you would like to add fresh strawberries you can at this time.
When I slice and squeeze, I make a half cut in the fruit and gently twist the fruit squeezing some of the juice into the wine mixture.
