We wanted to share with the club the passing of one of founding members, Maryann Leonard. She had a passion for Trop Rock and living life to the fullest. Her spirit was beautiful and giving, and her positive energy will stay with every one of us that had the joy of knowing Maryann.

Maryann Leonard, 68, of Venice, formerly of Waterbury, Conn., died Jan. 19, 2010.

Services will be private. Ewing Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, David of Venice; her mother, Filomina Cipullo; and sons Joseph, Steven and Ronald of Waterbury.
